ABSTRACT
Archaeological data are usually inherently incomplete, heterogeneous, discontinuous and require frequent updates possible adjustments. It is important to constantly create detailed documentation, which will precisely represent the actual situation. However, even most precise figure only an estimated representation of documented object. Therefore, it necessary collect fully metric documentation its professional archaeological interpretation. Acquiring correct valuable underwaterdigital images for archaeology purposes not easy due specific shooting conditions. should be noted a number limitations unique this type imaging environment — apparent extension focal length, “disappearance” colours, as well significant reduction in transparency water environment. authors have made attempts describe changes, much broader sense, quality photogrammetric that had been taken various Underwater aerial two test fields were tested. First, ground sampling distance INTOVA IC500 digital camera geometric accuracy acquired examined. Then, impact changes conditions on radio-metric resolution colour projection designated. In last stage, used practice assess progress erosion process object, also comply form vector drawing with mxy = ±0.5 mm.
