ABSTRACT
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between delta neutrophil index (DNI) during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and postoperative mortality. Methods: retrospective cohort was conducted with 200 patients who underwent open heart surgery CPB May 1, 2023, March 2024. Demographic data, laboratory results, durations were collected. Delta values measured at specific intervals. Results: Age, pump time, cross-clamp duration found be associated Higher DNI levels significantly correlated longer times increased Conclusion: confirms that is a strong biomarker for predicting The clinical utility of this should further assessed through additional research.
