ABSTRACT
This study aims to evaluate early and mid-term outcomes of ductal stenting via carotid artery surgical cut-down technique in neonates.Between January 2015 2022, a total 17 neonates (12 males, 5 females; median age: 14 days, range, 34 days) who underwent for were retrospectively analyzed. Diagnoses the patients, demographics, procedural success/failure, access-related complications, neuroimaging findings recorded. The primary indication was pulmonary atresia all patients. All patients had vertical anatomy, with or without tortuous they not suitable femoral approach. The body weight 3 (range, 2 3.4) kg. Fifteen interventions (88.2%) successful. Two whose failed systemic-to-pulmonary shunt operation. in-hospital mortality rate 17.6% (n=3). No neurological accessrelated complications observed any patients.Stenting ductus arteriosus challenging anatomy is feasible safe cut-down, particularly small neonates. Based on our findings, this may offer an effective less invasive alternative
