ABSTRACT
Three-dimensional (3D) models are indispensable in managing, operating, maintaining, and repairing piping instrumentation activities oil gas companies. 3D expected to provide more interactive representative information according actual objects. Several technologies that can be used generate maps Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) Handheld (HS). This study aims create a model of using combination TLS HS analyze the results data validation for modeling. The showed modeling could generated accurately technologies. Merging between two is carried out through cloud-to-cloud registration process based on geometry object by considering selection reference data, similarity scale factor, unit measure, overlap data. error combining these methods less than 0.003 m. resulting still has drawbacks, which absence coding pipe caused unavailability Piping Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) during geometric size value field largest absolute difference 0.0034 m with an average deviation 0.0016
