ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to explore the changes morphological parameters, short chain fatty acid contents and butyric transporter expression levels in large intestine with growth development sucking lambs. A total 48 newborn male Hu sheep lambs (body weight = 2.94 ± 0.22 kg) were selected experiment. At 0, 7, 14, 28 42 days ages, 6 slaughtered collect cecal colonic samples analyze mRNA expression. organ index cecum d groups higher (p<0.05) than that 7 14 groups. Compared other age groups, colon significantly increased at group. After age, acetic, propionic acids as increasing. similar trend expressions transporters, including monocarboxylate transporter, sodium-coupled sodium-hydrogen exchanger, down regulated adenoma, putative anion transporter-1 exchanger-2, found. In cecum, Escherichia coli count group whereas an opposite tendency found Lactobacillus between Additionally, colon, relative claudin-1 lower Overall, current results indicate transporters are influenced by age.
