Single cell of an indigenous phototrophic bacterium, Rhodovulum sulfidophilum, was incorporated in commercial fish feed for Oreochromis niloticus. The bacterial analyzed nutritional value and tested toxicity acceptability as aquaculture supplement. results showed higher survival rate significantly growth (p<0.001) O. niloticus fed with the bacteria feed.
