ABSTRACT
The fissureless lobectomy or anterior technique is a novel surgical technique, which avoids dissection of the lung parenchyma over pulmonary artery during by open thoracotomy approach direct vision thoracoscopic surgery. This indicated for fused lobes. We present two cases where segmentectomy was performed using simulated three-dimensional (3D) models. 3D model and rapid prototyping provided an accurate anatomical understanding operative field in both cases. believe that construction these models useful other complicated surgeries chest.
