ABSTRACT
Objective: Vitamin D deficiency is a worldwide common health problems. in adults has been associated with proximal muscle weakness, skeletal mineralization defect, and an increased risk of falling. Patients vitamin commonly complain widespread pain the body. The aim this study was to examine prevalence factors 25-hydroxyvitamin patients complaining musculoskeletal pain. Methods: In cross-sectional study, 8457 (7772 females, 685 males), aged 46.7 (range 20-100) years were included. Serum measured ELISA method. classified into two groups: 1) (<20 ng/ml) 2). without ( >20 ng/ml). Results: Prevalence found be 71.7%. A binary logistic regression model showed that low 25(OH)Vit level gender, age month which 25(OH) hypovitaminosis determined. Vit 2.15 times higher female 1.52 on March 1.55 April. Conclusion: This indicates should taken consideration pain, some precautions such as sunbathe during summer recommended having deficiency.
