ABSTRACT
Context: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is increasing with the increased rate of obesity and reduced physical activity in children worldwide. Despite high prevalence disease, a standard acceptable diagnostic method not available. The current study aimed at collecting all related articles evaluating challenges. Methods: searched Scopus, Web Science, PubMed. Articles guidelines English field invasive noninvasive methods for NAFLD nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) adolescents up to Oct 2016 were used. It was tried evaluate laboratory radiologic methods, biomarkers, scores addition mention Results: Ultrasonography evaluation, which routine early diagnosis, did have enough accuracy this field. Diagnosis steatosis fibrosis determining severity achieved by fibro scan controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) without challenges computed tomography (CT) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
