ABSTRACT
Acinetobacter baumannii (A. baumannii), one of the five most important bacteria with global threat to human health due constantly increasing resistance (ESKAPE organisms), identified as a enormous in healthcare facilities, can create antibiotic resistance. The implementation early detection and identification multidrug-resistant A. is serious control its spread. this study presents infection baumannii, pathological findings, virulence factors mechanisms, therapeutic options available for treating infections. ability develop mechanisms allows organism prosper hospital settings, facilitating spread strains. To dominate problem, knowledge pathogenesis important. As reported, aminoglycosides, fluoroquinolones, carbapenems increased, lipopeptides, such polymyxin B colistin, are lower compared that other antimicrobial drugs. Therefore, novel prevention treatment strategies against infections warranted.
