ABSTRACT
<b> </b>The purpose of this research was to examine the perceived stress, emotion regulation, positive-negative emotions, personal values and social support also investigate effects gender, ethnicity religion on these constructs. Participants were 308 students from a public university in Malaysia. A demographic questionnaire four self-report inventories used study. Results showed that stress its subscales had significantly positive correlations with both negative emotions. The life events hassles relationships subscales. Even so, there are significant between family friend Findings rejected gender marital status but affirmed roles it. emotions explained 37 39 percents variation total sample females respectively, 48 percent among males.
