ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to develop the Work Relationships Scale (WRS) and examine its relationships with stress, depression anxiety in workplace, also investigate roles demographical factors these constructs.Participants were 199 employees from different workplaces Penang, Malaysia.A demographic questionnaire five self rating inventories used study.Findings indicated that WRS is a multidimensional construct four factors: Critical procrustean, satisfactory, supportive sympathic, disciplinary.First factor positive correlated interpersonal sensitivity, demands control subscales work anxiety.Second negative depression, stress support subscale.Third total stress.Fourth subscales.Results supported effects gender, marital status, level education, type classification job on relationships.The satisfactory disciplinary altogether explained 30, 3 6 percents variations respectively.
