Measurement of Renal Arteries Using Multi detector Computed Tomography: A Study in Tertiary Care Hospital in Nepal

ABSTRACT
Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the dimensions renal arteries (length and diameter), among patients referred for Contrast Enhanced CT(CECT) abdomen in department Radiology Imaging, Tribhuwan University, Teaching Hospital. Methods: This prospective performed Department Imaging TUTH with A total 135 (73 male 62 female) underwent CECT from June September 2018. In diameter right left arteries, length were determined. Results: mean values artery found be (0 .5706 ± 0.09861 cm) males (0.5061 0.08384 females respectively. (0.5889 0.10351 (0.5354 0.10552 (4.568751 0.83128cm) (4.0318 0.87575cm) (3.5990 0.79567cm) (3.2002 0.59207cm) exhibited statistically significant differences relation age (p<0.05) peak 55- 64 years group where diameters 5.801 mm 6.012 Conclusion: concluded that varies significantly patients.
