ABSTRACT
Hydatid cyst affecting the sacroiliac joint is rare. Signs of involvement cause difficulties in differential diagnosis this rare condition. To describe an unusual case hydatid disease sacrum and to discuss imaging, diagnosis, treatment, a 27-year-old female patient with right buttock pain sciatica presented. Plain radiographs, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging scans revealed destructive expansive lesion located on extended through joint. Surgical curettage was performed histopathology examination confirmed treated albendazole. This should be kept mind sciatica.
