ABSTRACT
A 51-year-old female patient suffered facial burns during her youth. Following the healing of wound, a skin expander was implanted on 7 December 2021 to address scar contracture. The preoperative electrocardiogram (ECG) indicated sinus rhythm within normal range. Color Doppler ultrasound revealed no abnormalities. had history hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, arrhythmia, or other cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions. On 16 June 2022, removed, resection performed. routine ECG showed ventricular premature beats. During operation, when surgeon pulled compressed neck dilator, significant arrhythmia observed, with rate dropping below 50 beats per minute frequent occurring. promptly halted procedure, resulting in immediate relief patient's pain. Subsequently, ceased, restored. Once exceeded 60 minute, resumed but persisted. After removing gradually returned normal, further occurred. recovered smoothly post-operation, stable vital signs reported discomfort. She safely ward. It determined that caused by compression carotid due stretching dilator.
