ABSTRACT
Lymphatic leakage is a common and well-described complication after kidney transplantation, occurring in up to 25% of patients. Accumulation lymph due the surgical disruption recipient lymphatic channels accompanying external iliac vessels, complicated by lower extremity edema, wound breakdown, infection, and, if unresolved, graft loss extrinsic compression. In this report, we describe novel use diagnostic therapeutic lymphangiography successfully treat leak renal transplant that was resistant drain placement, sclerotherapy, laparoscopic peritoneal window creation. We also methodology, indications, contraindications conclude technique well-tolerated offers good option for complex leaks do not respond conventional treatment. Further studies are required compare its efficacy with other standard methods, including sclerotherapy fenestration, as primary treatment modality.
