ABSTRACT
This study delves into the multifaceted impact of climate change on soils subjected to shifting cultivation practices. Our findings reveal a complex interplay both beneficial and adverse effects physical, chemical, biological attributes soils. Moreover, exacerbates these detrimental impacts by inducing significant alterations in soil characteristics. Specifically, our underscores that practices, particularly those employing short fallow cycles, can pose considerable threat health when changing climatic conditions. In such scenarios, shifts temperature precipitation patterns have potential magnify consequences soils, ultimately outweighing any positive influences. highlights critical need for sustainable land management strategies, especially face change, preserve enhance resilience regions.
