Excellent family traditions are an integral part of Chinese traditional culture, serving not only as a key factor in fostering harmony and unity within families, but also as a foundation for building social morality. Such traditions are closely related to the cultivation of core values in contemporary university students and hold significant importance higher education. In this context, university counselors, as guides in student development, should actively integrate excellent family traditions with students' value education, becoming researchers, practitioners, and disseminators in this field, thus creating a positive and uplifting educational atmosphere. The atmosphere and education within a family are closely tied to individual development and the overall progress of societal civility. Family tradition education should both inherit excellent traditional culture and incorporate advanced societal and civil achievements. As crucial places for talent cultivation, universities play a significant role in family tradition education. Through campus cultural construction, teaching activities, community organizations, and thematic education, universities can integrate family tradition education into daily learning and life, deeply influencing students' hearts and minds. This is crucial for nurturing students with good moral character and civilized habits.
