INVESTIGATING ENGLISH-MAJORED STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS ON THE DESIGN OF ONLINE COURSES

ABSTRACT
The study aims to examine EFL students’ perceptions on the effectiveness of online course design. This paper employs a mixed-method research design using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. More specifically, questionnaire for 83 English- majors follow-up interview 10 students were undertaken at HCMC University Technology Education. data then analyzed SPSS 20.0 software calculate mean scores surveyed items. findings disclosed that some features such as structure, assessment technology tools found be efficient most had positive attitudes towards teachers’ Moreover, shortcomings plan identified. also points out practical suggestions from viewpoints which can used guide instructors improve teaching quality in future.
