ABSTRACT
The latent monkeypox outbreak has become the most emergent public health challenge globally. This study was conducted to assess acceptability, and willingness take pay for a hypothetical Monkeypox vaccine among Vietnamese general as well investigate preference individual attributes.An online cross-sectional using snowball sampling 842 respondents in Vietnam 2022. A Discrete choice experiment (DCE) on six major attributes of vaccine: effectiveness, immunity duration, side effects, mortality rate, restriction, cost applied.Fear impact economy, service satisfaction responsibility community were weighted factors decision vaccine. Two-thirds participants willing vaccine, while insufficient information main reasons hesitancy. For attributes, rate after seven days vaccination least influential attribute. Factors associated with included knowledge transmission, geographical location, satisfaction, risk infection, financial burden fear drivers hesitancy.Our findings underline an urgent need effective dissemination through social media counseling. implementation nationwide requires prioritization support high-risk groups consideration country's resources.
