ABSTRACT
Introduction: Erythema nodosum (EN) is the most common type of panniculitis.It may be idiopathic or secondary to various etiologies.However, occurrence erythema in malignant hemopathy had rarely been reported.Case report: A 42 year-old woman presented with a four week history recurrent multiple painful erythematous nodules developed on lower limbs associated arthralgia ankles and fever.The clinical features skin lesions contusiform color evolution allowed establishing diagnosis EN.No underlying cause was found.The were improved non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs colchicine.Three months later, patient consulted for recurrence EN fever, inflammatory polyarthralgia hepatosplenomegaly.The peripheral blood count revealed pancytopenia.A bone marrow examination confirmed acute myeloid leukemia 2. Initiation chemotherapy followed by complete disappearance EN.Conclusion: Paraneoplastic rare entity.In literature, few cases association have reported.Exploration solid neoplasms case resistance conventional treatment should systematic.
