ABSTRACT
The paper analyzes the consumption performance of DC current transformers based on linear class B, and half bridge classD compensation amplifiers, as well self-oscillating flux gate push-pull source–sink output stages.Compensation source-sink stages are used to generate feedback in order compensatemagnetic magnetic concentrator core, produced by electrical flowing through a conductor under measurement. Thefocus analysis is investigation conditions for appearance bus-pumping effect which all switching versions DCcurrent prone. All sufficient bus pumping explained most critical case ofDC measurement; main issues analyzed, giving better insight power consumption, possible hazards transformer circuitry. It highlighted existence particular exploitation that lead state where Dbased inferior conventional B counterparts. Finally, when compensating amplifier isreplaced with counterpart, it has been demonstrated expect feasible improvement energyconsumption middle ideal half-class D classical realisations.
