ABSTRACT
An all-fiber-integrated, Q-switched thulium-doped fiber laser based on carbon nanotube (CNT) evanescent field interaction is experimentally demonstrated. It shown that a saturable absorber CNT-deposited D-shaped can readily be incorporated into ring cavity for passive Q-switching operation at wavelength of ∼ 1.89 μm. Using the scheme stable pulses with temporal width 7.155 μs could obtained repetition rate 14.18 kHz. The stability output was also investigated.
