ABSTRACT
A fenestrated middle cerebral artery (MCA) is a rare congenital anomaly, and related to interference in the normal embryonic development of MCA. Fenestrated MCA has been regarded have no clinical significance other than event hemorrhage from associated aneurysm. However, fenestration within arterial trunk can be an obstacle against thrombus migration may with major infarction. Moreover, presence this anomaly hardly detected prior thrombolytic procedures, emergent treatments are proceeded without any information anatomical configurations. Therefore, recanalization procedures would carry high risk intraprocedural complications. We report case territory infarction occlusion M1 segment, also introduce safe method mechanical thrombolysis using coil.
