Consumers attitude towards Internet banking services in an underdeveloped country: A case of Pokhara, Nepal

ABSTRACT
The application of Internet technology has created enormous impact on banking sector with the implementation many techno-oriented services like banking, EFT, branchless Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions etc. Study customer’s attitude in terms trust, perceived risk and ease use a particular is as an important parameter for acceptance or rejection technology. To explore customers’attitude this research undertaken. carried out Pokhara valley which second largest city tourism capital Nepal. study employs descriptive design stratified sampling procedure eight top commercial banks. A set 25 customers taken from each selected 8 banks making sample size 200 respondents. fixed question related to demographic factors provided personally by visiting location service collected accordingly. Reliability test performed using Cronbach''s alpha data analyzed inferential statistics present results study. This provides knowledge current scenario helps cost saving, mass customization, product innovation, improved marketing communication. very financial institutions banks, government agencies business houses understand perception towards whole. also supplements gap literature Nepal serves base.
