Without discrete optical components influencing the fiber format, all-fiber mode-locked laser has tremendous potential practical applications due to its advantages of better stability, alignment free, and compaction. All-fiber by nonlinear polarization evolution(NPE) can obtain good performances in terms pulse duration spectrum. But effective saturable absorption mirror be overdriven at high peak power, which leads multiple pulses, limiting output energy. And there is a trade-off between avoiding overdriving NPE ease self-starting. In addition, propagating long so sensitive environment vibration that it difficult implement stable lone-time operation.All-fiber ring alone analyzed realized. The simulation results show even up/38 break mode-locking completely. Experimentally, after carefully adjusting, single-pulse achieved with spectrum centered 1053.4 nm maximum energy 82 pJ. parameters change continually during operating. After 60 min, broken. conclusion obtained instability unreliability self-starting are inevitable for such laser.Here, we significant improvements energy, operating reliability from an Yb-doped laser. combined chirped spectral filtering(CPSF). order easily self-start stabilize mode locking, filter employed all-normal group velocity dispersion cavity provide additional amplitude modulation. Combined effects CPSF result desirable output, reliable simultaneously. Stable 1053 3 dB bandwidth 9.1 17.8 ps. average power 66.9 mW repetition rate 15.2 MHz, corresponding 4.25 nJ. Especially, stability one-button fluctuations including duration, within 0.3% 150-min operation. Self-starting tested. testing time lasts two weeks. During weeks, turned off on 48 times using supplying button, without any adjustment. re-turned intervals randomly. Each time, start itself. repeatabilities 0.55%.
