CHARACTERISTICS OF SOLAR RADIATION IN REGION CLOSE TO TIMISOARA

This paper presents a study on the solar potential in south-west part of Romania based measurements carried out and published bythe Department Physical Foundations Engineering values provided by Station monitoring radiation at Faculty Physics from West University. Annual thermal is 1247 kWh/m2/year horizontal surface. Potential optimum tilted surface 1456 kWh/m2/year. Quantity heat produced one year 1 m2 inclined under angle; 1094 kWh/m² / year.
