ABSTRACT
We present the muon spin relaxation/rotation spectra in multiferroic compound (Cu,Zn) 3 Mo 2 O 9 .The parent material Cu has a phase below T N = 8.0 K, where canted antiferromagnetism and ferroelectricity coexist. The asymmetry time taken at RIKEN-RAL pulsed facility show drastic change .At low temperatures weakly beating oscillation caused by static internal magnetic fields antiferromagnetic was observed lightly (0.5%) Zn-doped sample. From fitting of oscillating term, we obtain order parameter these samples: ferromagnetic moment two sublattices antiferromagnet. In heavily (5.0%) sample, muon-spin is rapidly damped. The frequency-domain spectrum this sample suggests formation superstructure.
