ABSTRACT
Black liquor from kraft pulp mills is a valuable bioresource that can be used to generate renewable energy and recover cooking chemicals. Consequently, black must not regarded as nonrecyclable waste. Kraft are known 1.4 1.5 tons of (measured dry content) per ton pulp, representing potential source ranging between 250 MW 500 MW. The effective heating value relatively low at 12 MJ/kg 13 MJ/kg, compared fossil fuels. combustion well controlled according strict regulations, in order meet RPS obtain credit (REC) equal the percentage requirement for electricity sold. To date, however, Korea has seen no REC benefits relation bioenergy generation, though, most other countries produce surplus transactions benefit combustion. Only one company produces Korea, contributing consistent growth domestic paper industry. As such, it strongly suggested relevant ministries consider resource generating energy.
