Influence of Severity of Problem Drinking, Circadian Rhythm and Sleep Quality on Sleep Disorder in Alcohol Use Disorder Patients

ABSTRACT
Purpose: This study was done to identify the influence of severity drinking problem, circadian rhythm and sleep quality in patients with alcohol use. Methods: A descriptive design utilized. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from 139 use disorder who admitted a psychiatric hospital D city, Korea. The included Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT), Composite Scale Morningness (CMS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Korea scale A. analyzed statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, multiple regressions SPSS 20.0 program. Results: There significant correlations among problem drinking, rhythm, disorder. factors influencing drinking(β=.12, p=.042), rhythm(β=-.14, p=.039) quality(β=.63, p=<.001). model explained 56% variance disorder(F=57.34, Conclusion: results this suggest that development intervention programs for needs consider use, quality, assessment are needed early stage treatment recovery process.
