Reaching a consensus on service-user involvement in courses for professionals

ABSTRACT
To describe how a workshop that used modified nominal group technique (NGT) was at the end of research project to develop standard education and training requiring UK providers include service users in design delivery training.Often objective is deliver decision where there insufficient evidence. In this particular instance sought on whether should be involved for healthcare professionals what involvement might look like. One solution can use formal approach making. NGT one several approaches making seeks achieve consensus among participants.A included students, academic staff.This paper describes workshop, its outcomes points consider when using such an approach.This outlines complement other techniques provides practical tips maximise chances success approach.
