ABSTRACT
To explore baccalaureate nursing student perceptions of what makes an effective nurse educator in the clinical practice setting and influence teaching on experiences.Online surveys (n=511) focus groups (n=7) were completed by students enrolled all four years programme. Data analysed using content analysis.Participants indicated that teachers foster positive experiences, motivation, meaningful learning success. They perceived to be prepared, person-centred, professional, passionate positive, prepare for success active strategies. adjusted meet individual students' needs at each level programme.Important characteristics factors identified. These may used develop initiatives.
