ABSTRACT
Variability in precipitation due to climate change causes difficulties securing stable surface water resource, which requires understanding of relation between and stream discharge. This study simulated discharge a small mountainous forested catchment using antecedent index (API) models represent variability saturation conditions soil layers depending on rainfall events. During 13 months from May 2015 2016, were measured at the outlet central part watershed, respectively. Several API with average recession coefficients applied predict rainfall, resulted best reflection time for model was 1 day terms predictability indicates that riparian zones has fast response events its storage is relatively small. The can be improved by employing seasonal consider fluctuation hydrological parameters. These results showed useful evaluate streamflow ungauged watersheds only data.
