<h3>ABSTRACT</h3> Multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings are increasingly regarded as best practice for the successful management of chronic disease. However, patients with undiagnosed illnesses, multiple interacting comorbidities or other complex needs that fall outside remit disease-specific MDTs scope expertise individual clinicians, there is often no suitable forum at which to discuss their care develop a coordinated plan management. We developed and piloted new interspecialty discussion collaboration, an extraordinary virtual MDT, enable clinicians arrange urgent meeting all involved parties in response challenging clinical scenarios. Here, we share our experience implementing this innovation suggest how novel could be further improve integration, timeliness quality healthcare delivery needs.
