ABSTRACT
Objectives The purpose of this series is to present our experience with cases dacryocystocele diagnosed prenatally. role prenatal 3-dimensional sonography, as an adjunct 2-dimensional in the assessment these emphasized. Methods A retrospective review was conducted. Information obtained by reviewing sonographic reports and medical records. Outcomes were from referring obstetricians or directly parents. Results Ten fetuses had diagnosis a congenital at median gestational age 30.1 weeks (range, 27–33 weeks). Conclusions Prenatal straightforward. considerable number lesions are many utero spontaneously neonatally after minimal intervention. For those not resolving delivery, ophthalmologic rhinologic consultation warranted because potential complications. sonography may provide noninvasive method for evaluating masses contribute avoidance diagnostic techniques neonatal period.
