ABSTRACT
The horizontal and vertical components of the fluid force pressure acting on a girder bridge due to tsunami like solitary wave are measured in hydraulic experiment their characteristics discussed. peak impact is estimated basis change added mass structure. seaward side also estimated. critical for stability as strength bolts used shoes against shear stress.
