ÖZET: Bu çalışma, Niğde ilinde koyunculuk işletmelerinin mevcut durumu, yapısal özellikleri ve bu işletmelerin öncelikli sorunlarının ortaya konulması amacıyla yürütülmüştür.Çalışmada, tabakalı örnekleme (ilçeler) yöntemiyle seçilen toplam 96 işletmesi örnek olarak alınmıştır

Bu çalışmada, yarı ekstansif koşullarda yetiştirilen Akkaraman koyunlarının bazı döl verim özellikleri ile kuzuların büyüme performansları araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın hayvan materyalini, Niğde merkez ilçesine bağlı 34 işletmede bulunan 300 baş koç, 6000 koyunu onların kuzuları oluşturmuştur.
