ABSTRACT
Objective:To retrospectively analyze the characteristics of 100 cases with Dix-Hallpike test induced nystagmus, especially vertical downward component.Method:One hundred positive between December 2017 and January 2018 were included in this study. roll performed all patients, max slow phase velocity (SPV), latency duration positional nystagmus analyzed SPSS 22.0 software.Result:According to difference direction head-hanging position on test, patients classified into 9 types. When only components considered, 56 presented bilateral or unilateral upward component, among which 52 had torsional 4 component; 7 vertically one side other side; 47 component. In addition, 8 showed reverse nystagmus. Of Dix-hallpike, 20 5 showing horizontal 15 nystagmus.Conclusion:Vertical component was common, care should be taken interpret underlying disorder.
