ABSTRACT
Objective:To explore the diagnosis and minimal invasive treatment of neonatal pyriform sinus fistula. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data newborns diagnosed with fistula in Children's Hospital, Zhejiang University School Medicine from January 2016 to December 2023, including diagnostic process methods. Results:There were 8 children, 2 males 6 females, 7 cases left side 1 case right side. Six revealed a lump fetal neck during prenatal examination, two found have mass after birth. All presented varying degrees respiratory disorders. After admission, all patients underwent ultrasound contrast-enhanced CT examination. Neck showed cystic masses, 3 cysts accompanied by septa, an air-fluid level observed CT. ultrasound-guided puncture and/or tube placement combined endoscopic electrocauterization. The fluid be yellow thin, no signs infection. surgical operations uneventful, follow-up time ranged 12 72 months postoperatively. There complications such as hoarseness, recurrence reported. Conclusion:Neonatal is often characterized large depression. presence cyst can considered important basis for early Ultrasound-guided electrocauterization minimally safe, making it suitable
