ABSTRACT
Probiotics can improve the microecological balance of body and have special effects in promoting nutrient absorption, controlling intestinal infections, regulating immune function. However, there are problems such as difficult colonization gastrointestinal environment low oral bioavailability. Bacterial biofilms organized bacterial cells that adhere to an abiotic or biotic surface enclosed extracellular polymeric substances exopolysaccharides (EPS), DNA (eDNA), proteins lipids, with a three-dimensional spatial structure. help obvious advantages over planktonic bacteria stress resistance, combating pathogens modulating host's function, which provides new research idea for development probiotics. This paper expounded on probiotics biofilms, focused introducing could promote formation probiotic mechanisms, safety biofilms. Currently, is still its infancy, this expected provide references future field.
