ABSTRACT
Incarvillea younghusbandii Sprague is a traditional tonic herb. The roots are used as herbal medicine for nourishing and strengthening, well treating postpartum milk deficiency weakness. In this study, the chloroplast genome of I. was sequenced assembled by high-throughput sequencing technology. sequence characteristics, repeats, codon usage bias, phylogenetic relationships estimated divergence time were analyzed. 159 323 bp contained large single copy (80 197 bp), small (9 030 bp) two inverted repeat sequences (35 048 bp). It 120 genes, including 77 protein coding 8 ribosomal RNA genes 35 transfer genes. AAA most frequent in younghusbandii. A total 42 simple repeats identified genome. Phylogenetic analysis revealed mostly like its taxonomically close relative compacta. between compacta dated to 4.66 million years ago. This study significant scientific conservation development resources related also provides basic genetic resource subsequent species identification genus Incarvillea, population diversity Bignoniaceae.
