ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to determine whether a lesson, in which context-based learning approach and scientific stories were used, changed stereotypical images of students (aged 11-12) about science scientists. Data collected from two separate sources: Interviews with six Draw Scientist Test (DAST) document that given 80 (before after the intervention). In study, used as intervention change studentsâ ideas scientists observed. At end changes observed various categories scientists, such use laboratory tools (test tubes, glass bottles, magnifying glasses, chemicals, etc.), technological appliances (computers, microscopes, telescopes, machines, robots, who living things (plants, animals, humans), inside laboratory, outdoors (nature, space, etc.). same time, understanding nature by After intervention, clues student as, there is more than one method, no single criteria for doing science, their imagination studies, studies are not limited field course positivist philosophy toward heuristic philosophy.
