ABSTRACT
Light is the main source for plants to obtain energy.Asarum forbesii a typical shade medicinal plant, which generally grows in shady and wet place under bushes or beside ditches. It can grow develop without too much light intensity. This experiment explores effects of shading on growth, physiological characteristics energy metabolism A.forbesii, provide reference guidance its artificial planting. In this experiment, A.forbesii was planted 80%, 60%, 40%, 20% no shade.During vigorous growth period, photosynthetic such as fluorescence parameters, pigment content ultrastructure, well mitochondrial electron transport chain(ETC) synthase nutrients were measured. The results showed that content, chlorophyll parameters net photosynthesis rate(P_n) decreased with decrease shading.Under 20%-40% treatment, had damaged expanded disintegrated chloroplast, disordered stroma lamella grana lamella, increased osmiophi-lic granules starch granules. The activities nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide dehydrogenase(NADH), succinate dehydrogenase(SDH), cytochrome C oxidoreductase(CCO) adenosine triphosphate(ATP) synthasewere positively related intensity. With reduction shading, total sugar protein first then decreased, highest 60% shade. In conclusion, 60%-80% chloroplast mitochondria more complete structure, faster metabolism, higher energy-conversion efficiency, better absorption utilization nutrient synthesis, suitable development A.forbesii.
