With the approach of untargeted metabolomics and correlation analysis, this study aimed to explore mechanism Aurantii Fructus from Lingnan region in alleviating dryness by analyzing different effects raw Fructus(RAF) processed Fructus(PAF) on fecal endogenous metabolism normal rats. Eighteen Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into a control group(C), an RAF group(10 g·kg~(-1)), PAF g·kg~(-1)). After seven days administration, dryness-related indexes compared, including water intake, content, salivary secretion, expression AQP5, VIP, 5-HT submandibular gland, as well AQP3, colon. The samples each group determined LC-MS. Multivariate statistical analysis Pearson coefficient used for screening differential metabolites metabolic pathways RAF. results indicated that both showed certain dryness, was more significant. Moreover, could alleviate extent reducing colon increasing secretion levels gland. According metabolomics, 99 58 related found respectively, where 16 them played important role Pathway revealed presumably regulation riboflavin metabolism, purine arginine biosynthesis, pyrimidine alanine aspartate glutamate retinol pathways. This suggested might affecting body, which provides new basis further clarifying processing PAF.
