Primary liver cancer is a significant health problem worldwide. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) the main pathological type of primary cancer, accounting for 75%-85% cases. In recent years, radiotherapy has become an emerging treatment HCC and effective various stages HCC. However, radiosensitivity cells effect on efficacy regulated by factors. How to increase improve therapeutic effects require further exploration. This review summarizes research progress mechanisms affecting sensitivity radiotherapy, including epigenetics, transportation metabolism, cell death pathways, microenvironment, redox status, as well nanoparticles cancer. It expected provide more strategies methods clinical radiotherapy.
