ABSTRACT
Objective: To investigate the impact of receptor-interacting protein kinase 3 (RIPK3) on major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), as well predictive performance RIPK3 combined traditional risk factors. Methods: This study was a single-center prospective cohort study. It included AMI who underwent PCI at Peking Union Medical College Hospital between September 2017 and November 2017. Baseline clinical data were collected, plasma samples obtained 6 hours to measure levels. Follow-up conducted via outpatient visits or phone calls record occurrence MACE, including death, hospitalization for heart failure, vascular (recurrent stroke). The RIPK3, factors their combination MACE compared using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Patients divided into low- high-RIPK3 level groups based optimal cutoff value RIPK3. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis used assess levels patients. Kaplan-Meier survival curves plotted, log-rank test compare incidence low-and groups. Results: A total 103 included, aged 63.0 (56.0, 69.0) years, 83 (80.6%) male. follow-up time 5.17 (2.81, 5.17) during which 44 (42.7%) experienced MACE. ROC curve showed that area under (AUC) 0.68 (95%CI: 0.58-0.78), while AUC 0.72 0.62-0.82). 0.75 0.65-0.85). indicated is greater than equal 440.9 μg/L (HR=3.31, 95%CI: 1.53-8.30, P=0.005) an independent factor PCI. demonstrated group had significantly higher low-RIPK3 (log-rank P=0.006). Conclusions: Elevated Plasma can more effectively predict RIPK3≥440.9 have
