The expressions of Ghrelin and its receptor in Hirschsprung' s disease

Objective To study the expressions of Ghrelin and its receptor (GHSR) in patients with Hirschsprungs disease (HD).Methods Eighteen who were diagnosed HD underwent transanal pull-through procedure recruited this study.The resected colon was collected to GHSR by immunohistochemistry staining.Results protein consistently expressed glandular epithelium villi ganglionic colon.In aganglionic segment,the significantly reduced (Ghrelin:0.1460 ± 0.014,GHSR:0.1386 0.016).However,the restored dilated segment (Ghrelin..0.5103 0.013,GHSR..0.5094 ±0.019).Moderate found transition zone.In same tissue colon,the expression not different from that (P＞0.05).Conclusions The are HD.
