Discussion on selection and use of eye lens protective equipment for interventional staff

The decreased occupational dose limit for eye lens has lead to an extensive focus on the monitoring and protection staff in interventional procedures. Based literature investigation of existing measurement calculation results, efficiency influence factors protective equipments are analyzed, suggestions selection use them provided. main contribution is unshielded radiation which reaches eyes directly. key inflence equipment geometric conditions such as structure, beam projection, position arrangement operator postures, instead equivalent thickness. Equipment 0.5 mm thickness enough protect staff. combination glasses barrier can provide better clinical practice.
