Evaluation of the effect of up-converting phosphor technology in detection of plague antigen-antibody by receiver operating characteristic curve method

ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the effect of up-converting phosphor technology(UPT) in detection plague antigen-antibody by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) method,and to provide a scientific basis for field application UPT rapid technology prevention and control.Methods Two hundred twenty four serum samples were collected from Marmots ground squirrels foci,Yersinia pestis antibody was detected UPT,ELISA,Colloidal-gold Strips IHA,respectively; 108 organs bone marrow collected,and Yersinia antigens UPT,ELISA,PCR RIHA,respectively.IHA used as gold standard test results,RIHA,PCR + Colloidal-gold Strips,PCR ELISA antigen results.The results evaluated using ROC method.Results Antibodies detection:the AUCs UPT,ELISA greater than 0.5.The difference between other methods not statistically significant (z =1.204,P > 0.05).Antigen PCR 0.5.There no statistical methods(z =0.866,P 0.05).Conclusions new works well antigen-antibody.The is simple,fast,accurate,and suitable on-site monitoring plague,emergency treatment sudden plague,and promotion.
