ABSTRACT
Objective To present a new classification of polydactyly the foot, axial classification, in order to guide clinical treatment and evaluate prognosis. Methods Retrospective study was conducted on 55 cases with 78 feet treated our hospital from January 2009 December 2014. The number adverse events four aspects foot pain, appearance, function wearing shoes collected by email, telephone or interview. Axial Venn-Watson were used classify advantages disadvantages two classifications compared discussed according surgical methods follow-up outcomes. Results Each type clearly corresponded an operation. mainly occurred bifurcation complete duplication type. can not directly correction, nor it effectively prognosis operation.
